didyoh know that your eyes have a separate immune system. it's called the ocular immune system, so it isn't like the rest of the bodies (systemic immune). it fights infections all on its own!! however. this also means if ur eye gets injured, it can cause an autoimmune response that causes the main immune system to attack eye tissue. thats my yap.
