When I was nine, I was terrified of bananas because I believed that the seeds in the middle were actually spiders and would crawl around in my tummy, give birth to baby spiders, and then infest my body before exiting via every orifice I possess. It was so bad I would genuinely cry and shake and run off every time I saw a banana. It was the worst thing I ever experienced.
