reasons why i kin nickel BFDI!!! he is my highest kin of all, tied with pen (also from BFDI) .... i am EXTREMELY attached to both of these characters because i am very serious about kinning & they are huge parts of my identity ... so uhhh yeah doubles you can. see yourselves out

• nickel expresses elation, excitement & fear by speaking gibberish!!!!!!! also just really energetic in general & also loves to joke around
• wanted to replace someone in the past (he wanted to replace coiny in bfdi season 1) & can be arrogant because of this
• tries to be friends with everyone & thinks he's friends with a lot of people but those people don't really think they're his friend & see him as an annoyance instead (ex. tennis ball...) & in general he comes off as annoying nd weird to a lot of people (this is mainly me irl & not me online)
• used to be very confident but now he isn't & doesn't really believe in himself anymore
• can't tell when people are being sarcastic, but when he can tell he is unamused nd hates sarcasm (ex. bfb 5, ii x bfdi meetup 2023 video)
• used to be introverted but turned into an extrovert over time
• tries to be optimistic but he can't really do it because he's a pessimist at heart
• he's irritable & complains a lot, gets frustrated easily & is pushed by a lot of things (ex. the singing narrator from tpot 6)
• rational & tries to make sense of a lot of things
• tries to be empathetic but fails at it half of the time
• gets stereotyped as the "super silly goofy goober" when in reality he's just childish & energetic 😭😭
• he's really adhd coded in general & i have adhd ohyeah
