He could’ve done something but he was so young he didn’t know how to wield a sword not even an axe a little kitchen knife??? all the animal they had were sheep’s, pigs, cows. They didn’t have a pet wolf to help them Mignon specifically didn’t want one because he felt guilty he would be betraying his mother.
