emotions take root in people and can be re-triggered when upset, I assume they both died in the end. I will light a candle for those that died due to ignorance.

In the story, Wilson (the man near the window) began choking one night due to fluid filling up his lungs. Thompson noticed how Wilson was struggling to reach for the nurse's call button, but chose to stay silent and let him die. The following morning, the hospital staff moved Wilson after finding him dead. Thompson waited for a decent amount of time before asking to be moved near the window, and the story ended with him looking outside.
It's quite a sad story in my opinion 💤.
