many of them have gone through trauma of some sort, for example Tom(EW) being attacked by tord by some murderrobot, Murdoc(Gorillaz) having gone through parental abuse, Nightcrawler(X-men) was put into a circus from a young age by Margali as a devil; putting off his self-image.

There's a dichotomy between coquettish & mature-elegance. Playful & a tease, &/or highly regarded by many for some quality of theirs.

Many of them are disconnected from their emotions despite their high–above-average cognitive empathy.

Disconnect plays a prominent role; either reclusive in nature, put up on a pedastal they must maintain, non-humanity, or simply put in a position of power.

I always seem to kin characters that are strange and nonhuman or alien in some way, usually when not being human and their social disconnect from humanity is a big part of their role 🦢 something i find a lot of solace in and relate to

@tartaglia

insecure or lonely as fuck, hides it under a grandiose or apathetic persona. has suffered from grief and shame at some point in their life. most are a playful, which is also used to cope with those mentioned
