imo epic the musical's writing is so glorious yet so hilarious at the same time. "hilarious? wtf do u mean hilarious this shit killed me my grandma and all my friends" WELL. i mean this by in 'Polyphemus'. I find the fact that Odysseus said 'eye to eye' to a Cyclops of all things. You might be saying "hoyeon?? this shit is?? not funny???" and to that i say you're right! it's not! i'm just stupid as fuck! anyway.

the concept that Hermes is basically giving his great grandson weed is so stupidly funny to me. And also in 'wouldn't you like' it's actually Odysseus thats like hitting the high note near the end so it just makes me imagine hes tripping absolute BALLS while Hermes is talking to him.

And by the writing being 'glorious' i mean the fact that Odysseus decided that after hearing about him and his crew's fates by the prophet, he'd lose most of his mercy to try and protect those around him. You go Odysseus!

I love how strong the vocals are especially in Scylla, Dangerous, Thundernringer, Ruthlessness and Would you fall in love with me again. I also love how Charybdis is sung. It's so good. Like.. damn.. Jorge you fucking rock..

ALSO. The swap from Done for and There are other ways confused me so much since I thought it was just a really long song. It's like so faacking good and smart. And the tempo and mood change in Puppeteer is so good but the writing is a little ehh

For story telling purposes the lyrics in Puppeteer are really good but if it weren't telling a story it'd probably be a skip if it were on a album for me.. Sorry Circe likers! :(

also may i just say that one of my favorite songs (aside from Hermes biases) is definitely Legendary. I love how they made Telemachus sing, it really makes me think "Yes, this is definitely Telemachus!" and Antonious's VA did a really good job with singing as him. It really gives off the vibe that he's a bad guy and stuff and just.. yeah..
